The St. Lucie Mets' ninth inning comeback resulted in a 6-5 walk-off win, thanks to catching prospect Yovanny Rodriguez's two-run single.

Interim Mets manager Andy Green called Nick Morabito's first big league hit a "fun" moment in a game where the Mets saw a 6-0 lead cut to 6-4 before Morabito's three-run double blew the game open in a 10-4 win. Green praised the rookie for delivering the big hit coming off the bench, something he rarely did in Triple-A. Morabito was relieved to finally get the first one "out of the way" admitting it was weighing on him.

The Mets got big hits from Jared Young and Brett Baty in defeating the Rays 10-4 but the night belonged to rookie Nick Morabito who notched his first major league hit, a bases-clearing double and did it on the defensive end as well with a diving catch in left field.
