Lindor drove in another run with a sac fly, finishing with four RBI on a night when the Mets pounded out fifteen hits. Starter Chris Bassitt went 4 2/3 innings, allowing just four hits and striking out three.

Pete Alonso hit an a three-run homer in the top of 8th to tie the game, and the Mets rallied to defeat the Miami Marlins 6-5 in the 11th inning. Jesse Winker walked with the bases loaded in the top of the 11th to give New York the lead. Huascar Brazoban got the save as the Mets won 2 of 3 in Miami.
