Mets pitching prospects Brandon Sproat and Jonah Tong take command during Tuesday's action

In just his second Double-A start, Brandon Sproat struck out nine batters over seven innings using a mid-90's fastball and wicked sweeper. The Rumble Ponies lineup was also getting it done thanks to prospects OF Alex Ramirez, C Kevin Parada and DH Nolan McLean who went a combined 5-11 with 4 RBI. In Brooklyn, righthander Jonah Tong continues to impress, pitching into the seventh inning and striking out eight.
