Mets owner Steve Cohen on expectations for the 2023 season, addresses potential Pete Alonso contract extension

Mets owner Steve Cohen spoke with the media Monday morning, and said that he wished he could have his 3-5 year title plan comment back. Cohen also addressed leaving a potential Pete Alonso contract extension up to Mets GM Billy Eppler. Cohen said he does not expect what happened with Carlos Correa to affect how the team spends money going forward.
