Mets starter Jose Quintana set a new career-high in consecutive shutout innings after keeping the Nationals off the board for seven frames leading to a total of 23.2 straight innings. Quintana: "That's awesome, I feel great, was a great night for us." The veteran lefty says the team is brimming with confidence, "we are in a good position... keep playing the baseball we have been playing. Really good for us to play that way."
