Jesse Winker, Carlos Mendoza and Jose Quintana on Mets 'battling' to hold off White Sox for win

Mets OF Jesse Winker is "locked in" according to manager Carlos Mendoza after another three-hit game including a home run and pair of RBI in a 5-3 win. Winker called being in the playoff hunt "the best time of the year." Starter Jose Quintana had to "battle" through five innings, repeatedly pitching out of trouble but earned his seventh win of the season.
