Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby both gave props to Cameron Payne for his play in Game 1 against the Pistons that led the Knicks too a 123-112 win. Payne was revved up by the electric atmosphere at MSG, happy to be on the home team this season after being a visitor with the 76ers last year. Brunson talked about the adjustments he made in the second half, finishing with 33 points. Anunoby was impressed with the number of defensive stops by the Knicks that enabled them to pull away in the fourth quarter.
