Trent Grisham and Jazz Chisholm, who each homered themselves, were still in awe of Aaron Judge's three-hit, four-RBI performance including his fifth homer of the young season. Judge chose to credit his teammates for taking quality at-bats and making big pitches in avoiding a sweep.

Aaron Judge blasted three homers and drove in eight runs while Cody Bellinger had three hits and four RBI. Paul Goldschmidt started things off with a solo shot to lead off the first inning in which they went deep four times. He talked about continuing to add on and admitted the team's familiarity with Cortes' pitching played a big part in their success. Bellinger said "it was super unique" to be a part of but was also in awe of Judge's monster day. The Yankees' captain tried to downplay his performance but agreed the atmosphere was "electric."
