UConn head coach Dan Hurley is proud of the way his team has responded after a tough start to the season, winning their sixth game in a row over Butler 78-74. Hurley took exception to all the "stupid podcasts" that forecast doom and gloom after three straight losses at the Maui Invitational Tournament in November. He complimented the play of freshman Liam McNeeley, "who does everything for us," and  senior Hassan Diarra who had his most complete game of the season.
