Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich praised linebacker and team MVP Jamien Sherwood as "just a guy you know loves football... the only thing he didn't have was experience at the position but now he does and the future is bright." Ulbrich is scheduled to interview with the organization to have interim tag removed from his title as head coach and despite a difficult season, "I don't think there's a huge flaw in the culture but there has been a lot of losing... the only way to really cure it is winning and that will cure everything here."
