In this Yankees news conference, former Yankees Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter shared his thoughts on the past and present as he attended his first Old-Timer's Day since retiring in 2014. He kidded about "re-branding" the term Old-Timer's Day saying, "we're not old, just older." Jeter also talked about how special a Yankee OTD has always been. "What makes this organization great is their connection to history. When you have as much success as we had they never forget it. It's a special feeling to be here." Jeter acknowledged how high the expectations are in New York but the best solution is, "win, it's that simple."
