In this UConn conference call, head coach Dan Hurley looks ahead to Saturday afternoon's Big East showdown with St. John's at Madison Square Garden. Hurley expects a physical game with the Huskies facing a Red Storm team "that is one of the best rebounding teams in the country.' The coach wants his big man in the middle, Donovan Clingan to 'be at his toughest'" and display "some nastiness and rage." Hurley was also asked if there was "bad blood" between him and St. John's coach Rick Pitino leftover from previous battles. He pointed to the competitiveness of the Big East and that "all of the coaches "have an ego" but tellingly ended his response to the question by saying, "write what you want."
