Mets starter Tylor Megill called Opening Day at Citi Field "electric," and thanked the fans for getting the entire stadium amped up. Judge chose to credit his teammates for taking quality at-bats and making big pitches in avoiding a sweep.

He talked about continuing to add on and admitted the team's familiarity with Cortes' pitching played a big part in their success. Bellinger said "it was super unique" to be a part of but was also in awe of Judge's monster day. The Yankees' captain tried to downplay his performance but agreed the atmosphere was "electric."
