Carlos Mendoza sees similarities between last year's team and 2025 squad after Mets walk-off win

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza agreed this year's team has the same vibe as the 2024 group, coming through with another resilient win over Toronto on Saturday night. He called Francisco Lindor a "big game player' after delivering the game-winning run in the ninth, The Mets bullpen continues to excel and Mendoza believes there's a trust amongst the players in each other that no obstacle is too big to overcome.
