Mets manager Carlos Mendoza seemed downright perplexed as to why the team continues to hit ground balls and not be able to square up the baseball after generating just three scattered singles in a 4-0 loss to the Dodgers. Marcus Semien added that the players are putting in the work, jus not seeing the results. Starter David Peterson feels he's moving in the right direction but his personal performance takes a back seat to getting a win.

The Mets offense remained missing in action, managing just three hits in a 4-0 loss to the Dodgers. Starter David Peterson battled through five innings but allowed Andy Pages' three-run homer to put the game out of reach.

After two strong starts to begin the season, Kodai Senga could not make it out of the third inning on Saturday, surrendering eight hits and seven earned runs. Senga indicated that he felt good, he simply couldn't command the strike zone. Francisco Lindor is scuffling offensively but it may be carrying over to his play at shortstop. His failure to complete a double play in the second allowed the A's to take the lead. Lindor insists he's "locked in" and is trending in the right direction but admitted "I gotta be better.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza attributed Kodai Senga's ineffective outing in the team's 11-6 loss to lack of fastball command. Senga was on regular rest but just could not find his rhythm. Mendoza also addressed another poor performance from reliever Luke Weaver and Francisco Lindor's erratic defensive play at shortstop.

Aaron Judge says when you play 162 games, there's bound to be a few wild ones and Monday night fit the bill as the Yankees outslugged the Angels and Mike Trout 11-10. Judge was happy the team put a stop to their four-game losing streak and praised teammate Trent Grisham for his clutch performance in the win.
