Buck Showalter not ruling out Max Scherzer for Opening Day, 'It's still an option' | Mets Spring Training

Mets manager Buck Showalter addresses Max Scherzer's hamstring issue, saying "it's still an option" that he will start Opening Day. He also plans to keep the rest of the rotation in line and adjust to the two open spots, if Scherzer is not ready. Buck mentioned Tylor Megill and David Peterson as being stretched out and "options for sure."
