Mets manager Buck Showalter spoke to the media after his team lost a heartbreaker in their west coast finale on Sunday night, 5-4 at the hands of the Giants. Showalter took several positives from the loss, including another productive outing from relief pitching Jeff Brigham, and Francisco Alvarez's first home run of the year. The Mets finish the road trip at 7-3.
