Braves manager Brian Snitker was disappointed at not being able to build on Tuesday night's win over the Mets and having to reassess his pitching rotation for the Royals' series on the weekend with a possible doubleheader against the Mets on Monday. Snitker: "The right guys were getting hot, we had a little momentum, a good flow going... I thought man, I want to keep rolling with this thing." For Atlanta OF Ronald Acuna Jr., the focus is on 2025 as he recovers from an ACL tear for the second time in his career. Boosting his spirits was the arrival of younger brother Luisangel Acuna to the majors with the Mets. Acuna: "Just to see him in the big leagues is a dream come true for me and my whole family."
