Giants head coach Brian Daboll acknowledged that playing the season finale against the Eagles with no playoff implications usually means playing their backup personnel. Daboll however, is motivated to end the season on a high note, especially in Philadelphia where the Giants haven't won since 2013. As for his own job security after a disappointing season overall he responded, "Just focus on the things you can control. Focus on coming out here and getting ready to play a game against Philly."
