Mets prospects were loving the long ball on Tuesday night as the team's No. 1 prospect Jefferson Rojas belted his first HR for Binghamton while also adding a pair of RBI doubles. 18-year old Elian Pena launched a pair of HRs extending his hit streak to 12 games. Syracuse's Nick Morabito also went yard and teammate Jonah Tong contributed on the mound grinding through four innings with six strikeouts.

Interim Mets manager Andy Green called Nolan McLean's outing against the Braves a "great" six innings of work. Green liked the way McLean battled his way  through a couple of jams in the early innings. His lone blemish on the night was allowing a home run to Ozzie Albies but the Mets righty tipped his cap to Atlanta's All-Star second baseman for a "good swing."

Nolan McLean made just one mistake over his otherwise outstanding six innings of work and that was a solo home run to Ozzie Albies in the Mets eventual 4-0 loss to the Braves. His Atlanta counterpart Martin Perez  and Atlanta's bullpen surrendered just four singles on the night as New York suffered its 13th shutout loss of the season.
