Estevan Florial, OF, High-A Tampa (No. 1) - 2021

According to NJ.com, Florial (No. 54 on MLB Pipeline's Top-100 prospect rankings) recently had his cast removed from his fractured right wrist meaning he could begin baseball activities soon. Florial impressed in Spring Training, but he's been saddled with injuries, which has impeded his ability to climb the organizational ladder as quickly as hoped.

Jonathan Loaisiga, SP, Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (No. 2) - 2019

Loaisiga, who is reportedly set to return to the Yanks to replace injured lefty James Paxton, will hope for results better than his last start with the RailRiders. In five innings, Loaisiga (No. 62 on MLB Pipeline's Top-100 prospect rankings) allowed six runs on eight hits and a walk.

Albert Abreu, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 3) -- ETA 2020

Abreu produced by far his best outing of the season on April 30, hurling six scoreless innings. Abreu kept baserunners to a minimum (three hits and three walks), while striking out six batters. The effort lowered Abreu's ERA to 5.32 (22 innings pitched), but he will need to continue to work on a 17:15 strikeout to walk ratio.

Deivi Garcia, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 4) -- ETA 2020

After racking up 33 strikeouts in 17.2 innings and a 3.04 ERA for High-A Tampa, Garcia was promoted to Trenton. In his first start for the Thunder, Garcia coughed up four runs in just four innings. Garcia was inconsistent in the contest, walking five hitters, but striking out 11. It remains to be seen how long Garcia will be up with Trenton, but at 19 years old, he is seemingly on a fast track in the organization.

Clarke Schmidt, RHP, High-A Tampa (No. 5) -- ETA 2020

Schmidt picked up his first win of the season in his last start, surrendering three runs on six hits and three walks. Schmidt struck out just two batters, but completed five innings for just the second time this season.

Roansy Contreras, RHP, Low-A Charleston (No. 10) -- ETA 2022

Contreras, 19, recorded a no-decision in his last appearance, working a season-high 5.1 innings. He allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and struck out four while not handing out any free passes. Contreras takes a 3.33 ERA (24.1 innings) into his next start.

Luis Gil, RHP, Low-A Charleston (No. 13) -- ETA 2022

Gil continues to impress, though his overall command is going to be what holds him back if it doesn't progress. He allowed just two hits, while striking out nine batters, but walked four in a one-run effort in his last start. Gil's ability to shut down opponents with the strikeout is obvious, so once the walks subside we could see him make the jump to High-A Tampa.

Luis Medina, RHP, Low-A Charleston (No. 14) -- ETA 2022

Despite walking a season-high six batters, Medina held Greenville to two runs in 4 2/3 innings in Saturday's start. Medina has now walked 19 hitters in 18 2/3 innings on the season. While the command was an issue last season as well, the 19-year-old was better able to balance them with strikeouts. So far, that has not been the case in 2019, as Medina has struck out 18 batters.

Josh Breaux, C, Low-A Charleston (No. 15) -- ETA 2021

Breaux is in the midst of a power surge, launching four homers (including two in last Monday's game) in his last four games. His current eight-game hitting streak has Breaux's overall batting average up to .310 on the season (.908 OPS). Breaux leads the RiverDogs with six homers and 24 RBIs.

Domingo Acevedo, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 23) -- ETA 2019

Acevedo used to sit much higher in MLB Pipeline's rankings, but an injury-plagued 2018 season might have diminished his standing. The 25-year-old has worked exclusively out of the bullpen this season (80 starts and five relief appearances combined in seasons prior) and the results have been very encouraging. In 14.1 innings, Acevedo carries a 1.26 ERA and 0.63 WHIP. The big righty has 16 strikeouts and just three walks, while holding batters to a .125 average this season.
