Every Monday, we'll be taking a look at how the Yankees' top prospects (their MLB.com Yankees Top-30 rankings are in parenthesis) are faring.

Deivi Garcia, RHP, Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (No. 1, MLB No. 66) -- ETA 2020

Garcia failed to get through the fifth inning in either of his two starts this past week. Garcia allowed two runs in both contests, walking four and striking out nine batters in 8 1/3 combined innings.

Estevan Florial, OF, High-A Tampa (No. 2, MLB No. 67) -- ETA 2021

Florial has one hit in his last 14 at-bats after his six-game hitting streak came to an end. Florial is hitting .233 with a .292 on-base percentage and .377 slugging percentage with six home runs and 30 RBIs in 57 games for Tampa.

Luis Gil, RHP, High-A Tampa (No. 4) -- ETA 2022

Gil struck out four batters in four shutout innings in his last start, but he couldn't go further as he walked four batters in the process. The free passes, his lone issue at Low-A Charleston, are still plaguing Gil as he's walked eight batters in 13 innings since he arrived in Tampa.

Clarke Schmidt RHP, High-A Tampa (No. 5) -- ETA 2020

Schmidt followed up a seven-inning scoreless start in which he struck out nine batters, with a complete dud surrendering seven runs in three innings. Schmidt possesses a 3.84 ERA in 63 1/3 innings with Tampa this season.

Roansy Contreras, RHP, Low-A Charleston (No. 13) -- ETA 2022

Contreras notched his eighth win of the season, tossing six scoreless innings, while allowing just four hits. Contreras has allowed only three runs in his last four starts (23 innings), which has lowered his season ERA to 3.77 over 107 1/3 innings.

Alexander Vizcaino, RHP, High-A Tampa (No. 14) -- ETA 2022

In his third start for the Tarpans, Vizcaino allowed three runs across six innings of work in a no-decision. Vizcaino struck out nine hitters without walking a batter. Vizcaino now has 120 strikeouts in 105 1/3 innings with Charleston and Tampa.

Nick Nelson, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 15) -- ETA 2020

Nelson won his fourth straight start, a fantastic 11-strikeout performance in which he didn't allow any runs in 6 1/3 innings of work. Nelson lowered his ERA to 2.35 in 65 innings with Trenton.

Trevor Stephan, RHP, High-A Tampa (No. 16) -- ETA 2019

Stephan scattered seven hits in five innings, managing to allow just one run (his only run allowed in his last three starts) as his upswing continues. Stephan struck out seven batters in the contest and has now rung up 19 batters in the span that has stretched 17 1/3 innings.

Michael King, RHP, Double-A Trenton (No. 20) -- ETA 2019

After getting tattooed for 10 runs in his previous start, King righted the ship some with a two-run 5 2/3 inning start. King allowed six hits, did not walk a batter and struck out three.
