Five things to know about Sunday's game

1. Domingo German got the start and excelled. The right-hander built off his two-inning, three-strikeout perfromance from last week with 2 2/3 scoreless frames Sunday. German fanned four and yielded a pair of hits.

2. Luke Voit's lone hit of the day was a big one. For the second time this spring, the first baseman homered, this time going to the opposite field for a solo shot.

3. DJ LeMahieu plated the Yankees' second run of the game with a single up the middle to score Matt Lipka.

4. Reliever David Sosebee pitched an immaculate eighth inning. He required nine pitches to strike out Jonathan Davis, Cavan Biggio and Richard Urena in order.

5. In the sixth, Clint Frazier was hit by a pitch on his right hand/forearm. He exited for precautionary reasons and because his day was about to be over anyway, and the Yankees designated the injury as a bruise.

The Yankees are off Monday and return to action Tuesday when they host the Braves at 1:05 p.m.
