The Yankees showed some resilience on Sunday, coming back from two- and three-run deficits, but in the end they walked away with a third straight loss.

Being swept is never optimal, and when it comes against a divisional foe, it's magnified. The Yankees simply do not play well in Tampa, and that's unfortunate because New York has to beat inferior clubs whether on the road or at home because the Red Sox are not going to let up.

The walk-off loss overshadowed Stanton's big day at the plate. Now that Stanton seems to be fully acclimated the big hot streak we've been waiting for has come to fruition. The Yankees DH has steadily pushed aside a rough opening month with a .848 OPS in May and he's generated a 1.011 OPS thus far in June with eight home runs and 15 RBIs. Stanton's production thus far is June is more in line with what everyone expected and now we'll see how far this hot streak can carry the club.
