But the Yanks have done well themselves to start the season on the right foot, and a lot of that can be credited to Anthony Rizzo and Giancarlo Stanton. They both have two homers on the year, and they came in the first two games of the season.

There was also the walk-off by Josh Donaldson on Opening Day, while Aaron Judge is 4-for-13 with a double as well. He's yet to park one, but maybe that'll come in this series after seeing what the Jays' pitching staff gave up to the Rangers.

That's the stark difference between these two squads after watching their first series: Pitching has been much better on the Yankees' end. New York owns a 3.10 ERA, while the Jays are the worst in MLB after three games at 7.67. That's what happens when you allow 23 runs in three contests.

So, while the Blue Jays certainly have very scary bats to worry about, their rotation and bullpen hasn't hit the ground running. Again, this is a very small sample size, but the Yanks would obviously love to handle their divisional foe early on because all of these games in the AL East will matter once we find ourselves in September.

One thing's for sure about this upcoming series, though: We're bound to see some balls fly out of Yankee Stadium. The Bombers will just hope they're the ones making them fly.
