Tomas Nido was the final position player available for the Mets in Saturday's extra-inning affair with the Tigers, but he proved that good things come to those who wait.
Subbed into the ballgame as a pinch-hitter in the 11th inning, Nido put the game into the win column for the Mets with a walk-off solo home run to right center.

The Mets fell behind 3-2 on a Brandon Dixon two-run homer in the sixth, but in the bottom of the inning, Ramos stepped up with his third home run in his last four at-bats, giving the Mets the 4-3 lead.
