Tomas Nido was the final position player available for the Mets in Saturday's extra-inning affair with the Tigers, but he proved that good things come to those who wait.

Subbed into the ballgame as a pinch-hitter in the 11th inning, Nido put the game into the win column for the Mets with a walk-off solo home run to right center.

After homering in the eighth inning of Friday's game against the Tigers, Wilson Ramos was at it again on Saturday. The Mets fell behind 3-2 on a Brandon Dixon two-run homer in the sixth, but in the bottom of the inning, Ramos stepped up with his third home run in his last four at-bats, giving the Mets the 4-3 lead.

The Tigers took an early lead on Saturday, but Ramos clubbed his fourth home run of the year in the bottom of the second off of Tigers' starter Ryan Carpenter, tying the game at 1-1.
