Finishing on the losing side in each of their last three games, the Giants enter Sunday's matchup with the Lions looking to get things moving in the right direction.
SNY's Ralph Vacchiano believes Sunday's game is the perfect chance for Daniel Jones and the offense to open things up against a Lions defense that is struggling and banged up.
"The rest of the season, now, becomes about developing rookie quarterback Daniel Jones, and right now over the last couple of weeks, he has been regressing. That is a trend that they need to turn around," said Vacchiano.
"This should be a perfect chance for the Giants to actually start to generate some offense. Daniel Jones hasn't been able to do that since that first game against Tampa, really only the second half. Ever since then, under his direction, the offense has stalled, but now he's got Evan Engram back again, Saquon Barkley back, Golden Tate … more than enough to start to show what he can do."
