The Mets teed off on Joe Ross early and often Monday, knocking the pitcher out of the game in in the fourth inning.
They got two runs in the second, thanks to a double by Joe Panik and a single by Rene Rivera, the catcher's first hit of the season.
Then in the fourth, the Mets got five more runs, headlined by a two-run homer off the bat of Jeff McNeil to make it a 4-0 kead.
