Trailing the Nationals 2-0 on Saturday night, the Mets turned to the long ball.
JD Davis and Wilson Ramos slugged back-to-back home runs, tying the game at two. In the process, the Mets set a new franchise record with their eighth straight multi-home run game.
For Davis, it was his second home run in as many nights.
Later, with the Mets trailing by a run in the bottom of the eighth, Luis Guillorme picked an incredible time for his first career home run.
