Jamal Adams has already proven himself to be a leader on the back end of the Jets' defense.
This past offseason, the team went out and added CJ Mosley in free agency, adding another playmaker, and giving Adams another leader he can rely on in the Jets' front seven.
"Down at the Pro Bowl, I told him that 'If I could play with a linebacker like you, you would make my job a lot easier,'" Adams said. "Did we know at the time that it was going to happen? No. Obviously it happened and I was very thankful, I know this organization is thankful, happy to have him because he's an all-around player.
"He's a communicator, he's an ultimate competitor and he's a guy that's going to give it his all every play."
