Who is starting for the Mets?

Taijuan Walker (7-4, 3.43 ERA), who got lit up by the Toronto Blue Jays in his last outing. Walker picked up the loss last Saturday after allowing six earned runs on eight hits --including three homers -- in four innings of work.

He also walked two and struck out just one in one of his worst days of the season, as the Mets fell 10-3.

Who is starting for the Braves?

Drew Smyly (7-3, 4.30 ERA), who had a clean outing last Saturday for Atlanta. He pitched four shutout innings of three-hit ball, while walking three and striking out three, as the Braves went on to win 15-3.

Smyly hasn't picked up a loss since May 26.

The Mets and begin a new series with the Cincinnati Reds at Citi Field on Friday with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m. on SNY.
