Steve Nash has cleared health and safety protocols and will return to coach the Nets in Boston on Sunday against the Celtics.

Nash was placed in protocols shortly before Monday night's game against Toronto, and has missed the Nets' last three games, where they lost two to the Raptors and one to the Miami Heat.

Nash missed Kevin Durant's return on Thursday against the Heat, but his return comes in the first game with Durant and Kyrie Irving together since Jan. 12 against the Bulls in Chicago - Irving still remains an away-only player due to New York City's private sector's vaccine mandate that keeps Irving from playing in home games, as well as games in Madison Square Garden.

Jacque Vaughn was the acting head coach in Nash's absence.
