Interested teams are awaiting word on Toronto starter Marcus Stroman's left shoulder/pectoral injury, but a source close to Stroman said that the All-Star is fine. That means that Toronto should still have a healthy and appealing trade chip.

The Yankees have some interest in Stroman, but are unlikely to trade five years of Clint Frazier for a pitcher who will be a free agent after 2020. They are also interested in Cleveland's Trevor Bauer and the Mets' Zack Wheeler, among other targets.

Stroman left his start on Saturday with what the Jays later called left shoulder and pectoral cramping.
