Who is starting for the Mets?

RHP Robert Stock (0-1, 11.25 ERA), who will make his Mets debut on Wednesday night. The Mets claimed Stock off waivers on June 22 after he was DFA'd by the Chicago Cubs.

In his lone appearance for Chicago this season, Stock pitched four innings of four hit, five earned run ball while striking out three and walking six.

Who is starting for the Brewers?

LHP Brett Anderson (2-5, 4.69 ERA), who hasn't pitched June 21. In his last start, Anderson was pulled after just 1.1 innings. He allowed three earned runs on five hits to start the game before being pulled.

Anderson hasn't picked up a winning decision since mid-April.

Upcoming schedule

The Mets start a new series with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday in Queens, with first pitch set for 7:10 p.m.
