Here are the latest Rangers injury updates...

Artemi Panarin

Panarin was back at Rangers practice on Monday after leaving the team's second-to-last preseason game late last week in the first period due to a lingering lower-body issue.

Head coach Peter Laviolette said at the time that the star winger was day-to-day and he was unsure if the issue would effect his availability for the beginning of the season.

The fact that Panarin was able to get back out there in full capacity is certainly a good sign, and he told Vince Mercogliano of USA Today Sports that he's good to go for Wednesday's game in Pittsburgh.

Ryan Lindgren

Lindgren will miss the beginning of the regular season due to an upper-body injury he suffered during a fight with Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield in preseason action.

The team still hasn't put out an exact timeline out for his potential return to the lineup, but it appears he is at least on the road to recovery, as he resumed skating on his own on Monday.

Lindgren was not able to jump back into practice with his teammates, but the fact that he was finally able to get back on the ice is certainly a step in the right direction.

It remains to be seen what the final lineup decision will be come Wednesday night, but it looks like K'Andre Miller will be skating in Lindgren's spot alongside Adam Fox for the time being.

Jimmy Vesey

Vesey has not yet resumed skating.

The versatile depth forward is expected to be sidelined for the first couple of weeks of the season after leaving practice last weekend with a lower-body injury.

6-foot-8 Adam Edstrom is expected to receive the first opportunity skating with Matt Rempe and Sam Carrick on what's shaping up to be a hard-hitting fourth line for New York to begin the season.

Edstrom has never been known for his offense, but he finished with three goals and an assist during a standout preseason showing.
