The Knicks lost to the Portland Trail Blazers, 88-77.

Here are the takeaways from the game...

- The Knicks jumped out to a 24-9 lead through the first quarter, thanks to poor shooting from the Trail Blazers (they hit just three of their first 17 shots). However, Portland went on a 19-4 run to tie the game up in the second quarter, and trailed by one at the half. The Trail Blazers then led 59-57 through three, and pulled away in the fourth to win, 88-77.

- Quentin Grimes struggled from three in this one (3-for-10) and the free-throw line (3-for-7). He did make all but one of his seven shots from inside the perimeter, and led everyone with 24 points. He's scored exactly 24 in all three games this summer.

- Miles McBride was just 2-for-7 from the floor in the first half, and 1-of-5 from deep. He fared better in the second half, though, going 4-for-8, and finishing with 16 points.

- Jericho Sims remained a beast on the boards. He grabbed nine rebounds in the first half, and finished with 11, as well as three blocks. He has had double-digit rebounds in all three games this summer.

- Feron Hunt was the surprise of the night – the power forward scored eight first quarter points, and finished with a dozen.

- Trevor Keels didn’t hit his first shot until the second half -- a three-pointer. All eight of his points came in the final 20 minutes.
