After Quin Snyder stepped down as the head coach of the Utah Jazz after eight seasons, their star in Donovan Mitchell isn't happy.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Mitchell is "unsettled, unnerved and wondering what it means for the franchise's future."

Rumors have been around for quite some time that Mitchell would request a trade from Utah even well before Snyder, a huge factor into why he signed an extension with the team, resigned. He didn't shut those rumors down, either, after the Jazz were eliminated from the playoffs.

The Knicks have plenty of draft capital, including the 11th and 42nd picks this year that SNY NBA Insider Ian Begley has reported the Knicks are doing their homework.

Mitchell has four years, $135 million left on his contract, including a player option on the final season. The 25-year-old is an Elmsford, NY native, and his father works as a director of player relations for the Mets.

We've broken down what a trade for Mitchell could look like, and if the Knicks haven't already, they should definitely start exploring packages to give out west.
