The Mets (11-9) look for a series win over the Cardinals (11-9) in the rubber match of the three-game set at Busch Stadium on Sunday at 2:15 p.m.

A win Sunday would give the Mets their third series win of the season. Additionally, a win would give the Mets their 10th road win of the season, which would tie the Mariners for the league lead. ... Pete Alonso is one of two New York rookies to bash seven homers through his first 20 games. Aaron Judge did it for the Yankees in 2017. Alonso exited Saturday's game after , but precautionary X-Rays revealed no damage. ... Brandon Nimmo has reached base safely in each of his last 10 games, batting .355 (11-31) with 10 runs, three doubles, three home runs, seven RBI, seven walks and a .487 on-base percentage. ...
