Giants WR John RossLB Oshane Ximines, LB Cam Brown, and CB Aaron Robinson have tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Wednesday.

Additionally, S Xavier McKinney has been flagged as a high-risk close contact.

All five players have been placed on the COVID list.

If McKinney continues to test negative, he will be allowed to return to the facility on Saturday and would be able to play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to the five players who were placed on the COVID list on Wednesday, WR Kadarius Toney also recently tested positive for COVID. Toney was placed on the COVID list on Monday for the second time this season.

There have been COVID outbreaks in the three active major United States sports leagues this week.

Those outbreaks have impacted the NFL (where the Browns have a dozen players, including QB Baker Mayfield, on the COVID list), the NBA (the Chicago Bulls' last two games have been postponed after they placed 10 players on the COVID list) and NHL (where an outbreak recently forced the postponement of a game between the Carolina Hurricanes and Minnesota Wild).
