Francisco Lindor recorded two hits, including a triple, while Juan Soto went 2-for-5 with two RBIs and a double. After Lindor was thrown out at home in a close play in the bottom of the 10th, Jorge Polanco just missed a game-winning home run, as the Mets fell to the Pirates, 4–3, in a heartbreaking loss.
