Marcus Stroman had another rough outing, allowing four earned runs on 10 hits in just four innings. Jed Lowrie made his Mets debut as a pinch hitter, going 0-for-1 with a strikeout. Who is starting for the Mets?

RHP Noah Syndergaard (10-7, 3.97 ERA) is 3-2 over his last seven starts with a 2.91 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 43.1 innings pitched. He went seven innings last time out on Sept. 9 against the Nationals, striking out 10 and allowing just three hits. It was his eighth career start with double-digit strikeouts and no walks, which is second most in Mets history behind Tom Seaver (10).

Who is starting for the Phillies?

RHP Vince Velasquez (6-7, 4.80 ERA) threw just three innings in his last start on Sept. 3 against the Reds, allowing one earned run and four hits, while striking out five. He has allowed only two runs in 10 innings pitched against the Mets this season.
