Who is starting for the Mets?

RHP Noah Syndergaard (2-3, 5,02 ERA), who won the NL Player of the Week for his complete-game shutout, 10-strikeout performance against the Reds last week, in which he also hit a solo home run. Syndergaard looked more like his old dominant self and hopes to build off that start against the Padres on Tuesday.

Who is starting for the Padres?

RHP Cal Quantrill (0-1, 3.18 ERA), who made his debut against the Braves on May 1, allowing just two earned runs on six hits and striking out three in 5.2 innings pitched.
