Now that the NHL won't be breaking for the Winter Olympics, the league announced that extra regular season games have been implemented in those days.

A total of 95 games will be played from Feb. 7 to Feb. 22, and that includes three for the Rangers, seven for the Islanders and five for the Devils over that span.

This is designed to allow all NHL teams to complete their 82-game schedule by the April 29 regular season end date. Many teams have had cancellations due to COVID protocols.

"We are profoundly grateful to our fans for their support and understanding during a challenging time and to our clubs, the NHL Players' Association and the players for their cooperation in a rescheduling of unprecedented logistical complexity," NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said in the official release.

So, coming off the All-Star break in Las Vegas on Feb. 4-5, The Devils will be facing the Ottawa Senators as one of two games to resume the season on Feb. 7.

Rangers

- vs. Bruins: Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. (originally April 24)
- vs. Red Wings: Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. (originally Dec. 27)
- at Senators: Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. (originally Nov. 20)
