In the first three rounds of the NFL Draft, the Jets found an anchor for the middle of their defense (Quinnen Williams), a possible edge-rushing monster (Jachai Polite) and a future starting tackle (Chuma Edoga).

That's a nice start. But the Jets still have holes to fill. And they only have two more picks to go.

When Day 3 of the NFL Draft begins this afternoon, the Jets will only be holding a fourth-round pick (105th overall) and a sixth-rounder (196). That's not a lot for a rebuilding team that still needs help at center, cornerback, receiver, tight end, backup running back, and depth at any number of other spots.

So what will they do with those two picks? Well, the good news for them is that they'll have the third pick when Day 3 kicks off at noon, so they should have pretty much a choice of the top-rated players on their board. So it's a good bet they look for a center or corner first.

Here are just a few players to watch for the Jets on Day 3:

C Lamont Gaillard, Georgia -- If he's not picked in the first two picks on Saturday, how could the Jets not take him? Center is a glaring need that they didn't address in free agency, other than to re-sign Jonotthon Harrison. The 6-3, 305-pound Gaillard was a three-year starter and team captain who was known as one of the tougher interior linemen in the SEC.

CB Julian Love, Notre Dame -- A really smart corner with 4.54 speed. He's a bit small at 5-11, 195, but he is shifty enough to immediately handle playing in the slot.

CB Isaiah Johnson, Houston -- He's bigger (6-2, 208) and faster (4.4) but not nearly as polished as love. He was a receiver for his first two seasons, so he's new to the position. That means coaches will have a lot to work with.

TE Foster Moreau, LSU -- One of the best blocking tight ends left. The 6-4, 253-pounder has the size and strength, but he also has 4.66 speed and some scouts think he could be a much better receiver than he was in college if he's used the right way. Could be a good complement to Chris Herndon.

TE Isaac Nauta, Georgia -- He's not as big as Moreau (6-3, 244), but he's a better receiver. There's also enough talent there that he could become a powerful blocker if he puts on a little weight.

WR Hakeem Butler, Iowa State -- A big receiver with big-play ability. He's 6-5, 227 with 4.48 speed. He wasn't expected to last to Day 3, especially after a 60-catch, 1,318-yard, 9-touchdown junior season. He has some consistency issues, but Sam Darnold would love to have a big target like this.

WR Anthony Johnson, Buffalo -- He's not quite as big as Butler (6-2, 209), but he's got enough size and an uncanny ability to shake off defensive backs and get open. He's got good enough speed to be a deep threat at times, but probably would be more of a possession receiver and red-zone target.
