Curry missed time with ankle soreness after coming to Brooklyn

Seth Curry underwent ankle surgery on Monday, the Nets announced.

He is expected to be ready for training camp, the team said.

Curry came to Brooklyn along with Ben Simmons and Andre Drummond in the trade that sent James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers. With the Nets, he shot 46.8 percent from the perimeter.

He missed some time just before the playoffs because of the injured ankle.
