Edwin Diaz and new offseason acquisition Trevor May have been ranked among the Top 10 relievers in baseball by fans of MLB Network's The Shredder.

May came in at No. 4, while Diaz was slotted in at No. 7.

Diaz looked like he returned to form last season after a rough 2019 season. Although it was a short sample size, Diaz's 1.75 ERA and 50 strikeouts in 25.2 innings in 2020 was a clear improvement.

May, who signed a two-year, $15 million dollar deal with the Mets earlier this offseason, spent the first six seasons of his career with the Minnesota Twins.

He has a 4.44 career ERA, with 367 strikeouts and 1.30 WHIP in 316 innings pitched. Last season, May finished with a 3.86 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 23.1 innings.
