The Mets couldn't keep the Phillies hitless this time, falling to them 4-1 at Citi Field on Saturday night.

1. Taijuan Walker looked sharp in his first outing back from the injured list with shoulder bursitis. Walker tossed five shutout innings striking out one batter and threw 73 pitches. The 29-year-old right-hander was a welcome sight for the Mets who have seen exceptional performance from their starters throughout the season thus far.

2. Phillies starter Kyle Gibson allowed just one unearned run in 4.1 frames of work. Gibson walked five batters on the night and exited the game with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth with just one out. Jose Alvarado punched out Eduardo Escobar and Jeff McNeil to end the inning and hold the Mets lead to just 1-0.

3. The Mets were 1-for-7 hitting with runners in scoring position on the night, as they had another opportunity with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth that resulted in Nimmo rolling one over to second to escape the threat untouched.

4. Adam Ottavino entered the game with a one run lead in the top of the seventh inning. He served up a two-run homer to Kyle Schawrber and an RBI double to Odubel Herrera to give the Phillies a 3-1 lead. One of very few Mets bullpen blunders of the season.

5. Rhys Hoskins added a run to the tally when he took Sean Reid-Foley deep to left field for a solo home run. The Phillies would then lead 4-1 which was the final score. Reid-Foley would leave the game with what appeared to be an elbow injury.
