Mets sign OF Terrance Gore to minor league deal

The Mets have signed outfielder Terrance Gore to a minor league deal.

Gore, 31, was on the Atlanta Braves' World Series roster throughout the 2021 postseason, appearing in one game without a plate appearance. 

He played for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2020, when he appeared in just two games without a plate appearance.

The 31-year-old has played for the Kansas City Royals, Chicago Cubs, Dodgers, and Braves in 102 games over parts of eight seasons since making his big league debut in 2014.

Gore, who has plus speed and has stolen 40 bases during his career, is a career .224/.325/.284 hitter.
