The Mets (45-38, first in NL East) begin a new series against the Pirates (32-54, last in NL Central) on Thursday at 7:10 p.m. at Citi Field on SNY.

- RHP Robert Stock was optioned to Triple-A while RHP Nick Tropeano, who played as the Mets' 27th man during the doubleheader on Wednesday, is staying with the roster. 

- Jose Peraza is 4-for-9 with two doubles, one homer and three RBI in 12 plate appearances as a pinch hitter this season.
