SS/2B Ronny Mauricio, Triple-A Syracuse

Mauricio went a combined 0-for-6 in Saturday's doubleheader against Lehigh Valley, but not even that can take away from his hot start to the month of May.

Since the calendar flipped, Mauricio has eight his in five games, including a three-hit night on Friday. This month, the infielder has 12 total bases, included a triple and two doubles.

For the season, Mauricio is slashing .336/.373/.592, as he continues to push for a promotion to the big leagues.

INF/OF Mark Vientos, Triple-A Syracuse

Vientos has cooled off a bit to start the month, hitting just. 158 in the month of May with five strikeouts in 19 at-bats.

But that shouldn't take away from what's been an outstanding season for the slugging corner infielder. Overall, Vientos has slashed .330/.414/.661 with nine homers and 26 RBI. His 1.075 OPS ranks sixth among all players in the International League.

C Kevin Parada, High-A Brooklyn

After hitting just .213 in April, Parada looks like he's starting to turn a corner.

In the month of May, the slugging catcher is slashing .316/.350/.737 with a homer and a pair of RBI.

Parada is the No. 3 prospect in the Mets' system according to MLB Pipeline, but with Francisco Alvarez and Brett Baty poised to graduate from the list in the near future, Parada should take over the top spot.

OF Alex Ramirez, High-A Brooklyn

Ramirez's impressive 12-game hitting streak came to a close on May 2, and he's had some struggles this month, slashing just .118/.286/.176 with seven strikeouts in 17 at-bats.

The No. 4 Mets prospect according to MLB Pipeline (and likely to move up to the No. 2 spot soon), Ramirez is hitting .259 overall this season, though his slugging percentage has taken a noticeable dip from .436 last season to .341 currently.

SS Jett Williams, Low-A St. Lucie

Williams, the Mets’ No. 5 prospect according to MLB Pipeline, has scuffle a bit to start the month, going 2-for-11 (.182 average) at the plate, including back-to-back hitless games against Jupiter.

Still, Williams is rising up the prospect rankings, as he recently cracked MLB Pipeline's Top 100 list.
